The characters of this play do not conform to any social norms, beliefs or fit to any adequate stagnant evaluation. This is a family of a marginal experience, that is both, recognizable and paradoxical and sometimes groundless. Consumerism is the starting point of the play. According to the performance creators and artists one of the causes of indifference, insensitivity is a habit to judge a man’s individuality through possesions. We care too much for material objects and we are willing to sacrifce our freedom, relationships, career, family and health. Through the material things we seek to feel fullfilled and content. This irrational consumption is what actually lacks any happiness and causes our surroundings to degrade. We pollute the environment so that we can increase industrial economics that make thing that we don’t need.
Artūras Areima: “Boiling Temperature 5425 is an intellectual piece. It might seem that the performers tell a simple, mundane sentence yet it contains what really makes you stop and think. This a cinematographic piece that requires a specific type of stage presence and different type of artistic expression of the actor.”
AWARDS: The play was awarded as a best play in 2016 national dramaturgy festival "Versmė".
